This week, we discovered how Abel responded to God in faith. His offering to God provides an example, demonstrating to us that what we give to God is just as important as the way in which we give.
As you engage in service to the Kingdom of God, you might receive thanks for what you do. You may find yourself standing in front of a group of people. You will have to ask yourself, why am I serving? Is it to glorify myself, or is it to glorify God?
This is not “choose tomorrow whom you will serve”, this is not “choose after you’re done with whatever else you are doing whom you will serve." We must choose THIS DAY whom we will serve.”
When we gather together as the Church we make up a community of people who have been redeemed by Christ and we respond together to what God has done for us.
Remaining in the vine requires us to experience the love of God, to continue experiencing the love of God, to respond to His love with faithful living, and to express His love to others.
