September 11: Overview & SNACKS
September 18: Anxiety & Depression (Rachel Reed) - Depression & Anxiety can be crippling. Based on Jeremiah 17:7-8, Rachel will help us understand how to deal with depression and anxiety while keeping God’s word and promises at the forefront of our minds.
September 25: Comparison & Friendship (Ashley Gillespie) - Have you ever struggled in your friendships? In this session, we will look into what a healthy friendship looks like, and how not to fall into the comparison trap in this social media era.
October 2: Identity (Holly Fisher & Kristen Smith) - Come join us for an evening of discussion on the differences between worldly identity and our God given identity. Discover how to use your unique identity to bring God glory.
October 9: Peace & Joy (Angie Kieffer & Robin Williamson) - How do you define peace and joy? Robin and Angie will be sharing what the Bible tells us about leading a life full of peace and joy.
October 16: Anger Management & Patience (Tammy Baumunk & Angie Kieffer) - Have you ever been angry? “Who me?” Is it difficult to remain patient? “Can we just get to the point, please?” The point is that anger and lack of patience are both things we all experience. Join us as we explore what God has to say about managing these two emotions. See you soon... even if your angry!!
October 23: Meekness (Bekah Johnson) - When we hear the word meekness...we think weakness...but Jesus calls Himself meek and He wasn’t weak. How are we to be meek in a world that values power and aggression? Understanding the Biblical meaning of meekness will make it easier to apply it to your life.
October 30: Christian Example (Joyce Drake) - The world may scrutinize our actions and words, but when we live according to God’s word and rely on Him for our strength and guidance we can rest in Him while doing our best to be lights in a dark world.
November 6: Leadership & Mentoring (Jane Callihan & Pam Rettig) - Leadership isn’t just about directing a committee or heading up a ministry. Everyone has a sphere of influence with the people around them who are watching & looking for guidance in their own lives. Speaking truth (mentoring) into the life of a younger woman doesn’t require a program, it requires authenticity, connection and understanding the needs of the younger woman. Leadership and mentoring, while seemingly daunting, can be a blessing to all who are involved when they are Christ-centered and sincere.
