Uniting the Church and Family

One of the biggest priorities that the Children's and Family Ministry has is to connect families with each other. That may involve uniting the family together, providing them times to be together, or challenging them to serve together and see what they can accomplish as a family for the Kingdom of God.

No matter how you slice it, the parents' influence greatly outweighs the churches' influence on a child. Think about this, if your child were to be at church every time the doors were open, they would be here more than 200 hours in that year (we would love to see every child attend those 200+ hours a year). As a parent the time you have with your child in that same year will be over 3000 hours. Wow! What an amazing amount of time you have to be able to influence the faith of your child.

Parents have a role of volunteerism at Parkview Christian Church. We want our students to see their parents putting their faith into action, showing that church isn't something you just attend.
